Position Overview

The Specialist – NOP Outreach is responsible for planning and executing outreach initiatives to identify, engage, and mobilise talented students from underserved educational institutions. The role builds and maintains relationships with schools and community stakeholders, promotes awareness of LUMS and the National Outreach Programme (NOP), and supports prospective students throughout the application journey. The incumbent also contributes to programme visibility, outreach planning, reporting, and administrative coordination to strengthen the NOP applicant pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

1. School & College Outreach

  • Plan and execute regular awareness visits to government, semi-government, and low-cost private institutions across assigned regions.
  • Delivering information sessions on LUMS, financial aid, and the NOP programme tailored to diverse student audiences.
  • Identify high-potential students, guide them on eligibility, and connect them to the NOP application process.
  • Maintain follow-up communication with schools, counsellors, and shortlisted students.
  • Develop regional outreach calendars and ensure completion of visit targets.

 2. Awareness Material & Programme Visibility

  • Utilise approved presentations, brochures, and digital content during outreach activities.
  • Support the development of localised awareness content suited for underserved communities.
  • Coordinate with Communications/MarComms for storytelling, testimonials, and visibility campaigns.
  • Provide field insights and feedback to strengthen programme messaging and outreach strategies.

 3. Student Pipeline Development & Support

  • Build and maintain a prospective student database from outreach engagements.
  • Provide application guidance, timeline reminders, and referral support to interested students.
  • Coordinate with the NOP academic and admissions teams for a smooth transition from awareness to application.
  • Track conversion from outreach contact to applicant and enrolment stages.
  • Implementation and continuous management of the Student Ambassadorship programme and related data

4. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate outreach records, visit reports, and institutional engagement logs.
  • Prepare monthly progress summaries highlighting reach, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports highlighting outreach coverage, engagement trends, geographic coverage and programme outcomes, etc.
  • Support the preparation of internal reports, donor briefs, and presentations.

 5. Institutional Relationship Building

  • Develop sustained partnerships with school leadership, teachers, and community stakeholders.
  • Represent the NOP Centre at education fairs and community engagement platforms.

6. Office Administration & Team Support

  • Provide logistical support for NOP events, orientations, testing sessions, and workshops.
  • Support procurement follow-ups, travel planning, logistics and reimbursement documentation.
  • Assist in onboarding and coordinating student volunteers or outreach assistants.
  • Support office documentation, compliance and meeting coordination.
  • Contribute to staff and student volunteer onboarding, mentoring, and performance tracking.
  • Help maintain a culture of professionalism and high performance in the team.

Qualifications
  • At least a BS (Hons.) in Education, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field from a reputable, HEC-recognized institution
Experience
  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in educational outreach, student recruitment, community engagement, education programmes, or related roles.
