Position Overview

The Partnerships Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Office for Partnerships and supporting the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with schools and other educational institutions. The role coordinates partnership activities, practicum programmes, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support the School of Education's academic, research, and field-based learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Relationship Management

  • Identify, establish, and sustain strategic partnerships with schools, educational institutions, NGOs, government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with partner organisations to support the School’s academic, research, and field engagement objectives.
  • Lead the development, execution, and renewal of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and other partnership agreements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the School and partner institutions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Events

  • Plan and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives, including roundtables, conferences, forums, networking events, and partnership meetings.
  • Lead the organisation of the flagship School of Education events, including the Practicum Showcase Conference.
  • Promote institutional visibility and collaboration through effective stakeholder engagement activities.

Practicum & Experiential Learning

  • Manage the planning and implementation of practicum cycles in collaboration with faculty, students, and partner institutions.
  • Facilitate student placements and experiential learning opportunities aligned with academic requirements.
  • Monitor programme implementation and address operational issues to ensure successful delivery.

Academic & Research Engagement

  • Facilitate academic visits, field immersions, research collaborations, and other field-based learning activities.
  • Coordinate with partner institutions to support student development and faculty research initiatives.

Operations & Reporting

  • Support and manage the day-to-day administration of the Partnerships Office.
  • Maintain accurate partnership records, databases, agreements, and programme documentation.
  • Track partnership activities, timelines, and deliverables, and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with institutional administrative and operational requirements.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Understanding of Pakistan’s education sector and key stakeholders, including schools, educational institutions, NGOs, and government bodies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a HEC-recognised institution. 

Experience

At least 03 years of relevant experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, programme coordination, project management, or relationship management.
