Position Overview

The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing learning programs, enhancing training branding, and ensuring smooth communication and logistics for training initiatives. The role involves maintaining training records, managing budgets, and contributing to the overall learning and engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination & Training Branding

  • Ensure timely communication of training schedules to department heads at least two weeks before training.
  • Notify participants about upcoming training sessions one week in advance.
  • Develop high-quality branding materials for training, including testimonials, write-ups, email banners, and standees.

2. Learning & Development Execution

  • Execute learning programs as per the approved training calendar.
  • Prepare and organize training materials and equipment three days before the session.
  • Ensure venue booking is completed as per availability.
  • Develop feedback forms, ensure completion by all participants, and submit a feedback analysis within seven working days.
  • Maintain an updated Training Directory, ensuring seamless coordination with trainers.
  • Prepare and update employee-wise training records, submitting training reports to the Learning & Engagement Lead on the 1st of every month.

3. Learning Budget & Expense Management

  • Submit Learning & Engagement budget utilization reports as per the scheduled timeline.
  • Prepare a monthly expense sheet detailing all budget utilization.
  • Assist in submitting the quarterly budget report by the 10th of each quarter.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
Behaviours
  • Attention to detail to ensure error-free execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, communication, or a related field.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in training development and training services.
