Job Purpose

The main purpose of the job is to support operations of the accounts payable and taxation section.

Job Description
  • Assist in preparing withholding tax workings for tax deposits, including quarterly and annual declarations
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate recording of expenses in the system (Direct Expenses and P2P)
  • Handle employee/faculty travel advances and their subsequent adjustments
  • Coordinate with user departments to reconcile credit card–related advances
  • Conduct tax research and support implementation of changes in the accounting system
  • Provide assistance during closing activities, as well as internal, external, and tax audits
  • Guide user departments with accurate and applicable withholding tax information
  • Recommend improvements in assigned areas, including automation of manual tasks and controls where applicable
  • Coordinate with stakeholders during the processing of financial transactions
Required Skills
  • Sound understanding of Accounts Payable, recordkeeping, and withholding taxes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong command of spreadsheets
  • Hands-on experience with ERP software (preferably SAP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in client and public interaction
  • Excellent analytical skills

ACCA/MBA/equivalent

Experience
