Position Overview

The person is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance (QA) standards, policies, and procedures to enhance the academic and administrative functions of the university. The position also involves data compilation and reporting to stakeholders such as HEC and International Ranking bodies, and support in preparing and maintaining the records for the department’s functions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Support departments in the preparation of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and Review of Institutional Performance Evaluation (RIPE).
  • Assist in Data compilation and reporting to various stakeholders, including HEC, International Rankings, and  Regional Data Management Departments.
  • Maintain and update the records and databases for support in the department’s tasks.
  • Assisting in performing internal and external reviews as mandated by HEC or institutional requirements to uphold quality standards.
  • Assist in compiling the review reports based on the external and Internal Reviews conducted.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies, accreditation agencies, and higher education stakeholders.

Capacity Building & Training:

  • Organise quality enhancement workshops, seminars, and training programs for faculty and administrative staff.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Represent the institution in quality assurance networks, conferences, and accreditation meetings.

Coordination and communication:

  • Performing activities relating to communication and coordination (within the department and externally) through emails, announcements, minutes, reports, etc.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of higher education quality assurance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage accreditation and compliance documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage various tasks effectively

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master’s in Quality Management/Economics or a related field.
