Job Purpose

The Global Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing the internationalisation goals of LUMS by managing student and staff mobility programs, supporting strategic international partnerships, and ensuring a high-quality experience for inbound and outbound exchange participants. The specialist serves as a key liaison between LUMS and its global partners, facilitating smooth implementation of exchange agreements, coordinating international events and visits, and promoting global opportunities within the university community.

Job Description
  • Manage active exchange programs’ admissions processing for outgoing and incoming students. Manage events such as Registration, Orientation, Farewell, Exchange Information Sessions, and Exchange Pre-Departure Briefings.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary documentation, communication, and coordination with all relevant internal and external departments, strictly following the admissions schedule of partner universities.
  • SAP fluency to raise Purchase requisitions and oversee annual budget.
  • Manage operational and administrative matter of the office including space management, documentation, and internal and external coordination.
  • Design and create visually compelling social media posts, flyers, posters, brochures, and other marketing materials that align with the Office of International Affairs' branding.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts for promotional campaigns and events.
  • Develop the activities and events that will be hosted throughout the semester.
  • Maintain and update the Office of International Affair’s website, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
  • Liaise with the IT department to test, Evaluate, diagnose, and solve hardware or software-related queries.
  • Conduct research to support OIA initiatives, including market analysis, audience insights, and trends in international education.

  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing work in social media and print design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Qualification
  • At least a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field from an HEC recognized university.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of work experience in research, client, customer, or forward-facing role. An outward-facing role with significant international collaborations will be preferred.
