Position Overview

The role is responsible for supporting laboratory teaching and learning activities for Communication and Signal Processing Systems courses through conducting lab sessions, maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting in experiment development, and supporting student assessments to ensure an effective and hands-on learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct laboratory sessions in Communication Systems and Signal Processing as per departmental and course requirements.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of laboratory experiments under the guidance of the lead instructor.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage laboratory equipment, software, inventory, and consumables to ensure smooth lab operations.
  • Support the selection, upgrading, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and technical resources.
  • Prepare laboratory setups, instructional materials, and technical resources for practical sessions and assessments.
  • Assist in preparing, invigilating, and grading laboratory exams, assignments, and student projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and academic support to students during laboratory sessions and project work.
  • Serve as a Teaching Assistant during academic semesters as assigned by the supervisor and Department Chair.
  • Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and equipment maintenance logs in compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Conduct Huawei certification training sessions and maintain related records/documentation.
  • Coordinate with faculty and departmental staff to support teaching, research, and laboratory-related activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, or Electronic Engineering from an HEC-recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
Experience
  • Fresh graduates or candidates awaiting final results may apply.
